About Carolyn

All of my work honours my experiential learnings from my 30+ year
professional career,
together with academic studies, and my nature and yoga-based spiritual practice. In addition, my life-long fascination for collecting family stories underpins my interest in generational trauma
and writing historical fiction.

A change worker in complex organisational systems, I understand systems dynamics and have extensive public and private professional experience across all areas of human capital, leadership and systems dynamics, including communications and marketing, industrial relations, strategic human resources, employee relations, organisational development and change projects. I advocated for targets of inappropriate workplace behaviours,(including bullying and discrimination), managed investigation processes,
and personally experienced the impact of workplace dysfunction.

My specialist areas include:

* group & system dynamics
(including workplace dysfunction & gendered violence)

* feminine/participatory leadership

* workplace wellbeing & women's self-care

* trauma informed care in organisational systems

I am an Organisational & Executive Coach certified by the Institute of Executive Coaching & Leadership (IECL).

I hold Level 2 First Aid and am an
Accredited Mental Health First Aider (MHFA Australia).

I am a trauma aware yoga teacher (Knoff Yoga and TSYA),
with a preference for breath-work, yin and restorative yoga.

I am trained in Embedding Trauma-Informed Care and Practice
for Managers (Blue Knot Foundation).

I am a participatory leadership practitioner with Art of Hosting
and The Circle Way.

I hold a Master of Applied Science (Organisation Dynamics) from RMIT;
a Graduate Diploma in Communication from Victoria University of Technology; and a Bachelor of Arts (Social Science) from La Trobe University.

I completed a Certificate in Genealogical Research in 2016
and am currently undertaking a Diploma in Family Historical Studies
through the Society of Australian Genealogists.

Navigating Change

Our world is changing - old structures are crumbling, organisational
leadership is being redefined, toxic workplace cultures are under review,
people are speaking up and inappropriate behaviours are no longer accepted. In a sense, we are experiencing a dismantling of rigid power and control,
and enabling creative energy into all aspects of our lives.

These shifts are creating growing pains and angst, but also much excitement and new energy. Whilst this is a normal part of our evolution, we still need an anchor. dCC offers to hold space for you as you navigate the changing landscape in alignment with your authentic Self.
